To build the codec 
1) grab newest version of library from http://adplug.sourceforge.net/
2) apply xbmc.diff
3) copy AdplugXBMC.cpp to src/
3) ensure static linking to libbinio by setting libbinio_LIBS in configure
4) make
5) you will now have your library in src/.libs
